Timothy Ingle is vice president of strategic planning for Toyota Motor North America (TMNA). He is responsible for the long-term strategy for the North American business unit, including mid-term business planning, product portfolio planning, emissions strategy and credit management, enterprise risk management, and corporate governance.
Since joining Toyota in 2002, Ingle has held roles in product planning for Toyota vehicles, global manufacturing strategy as assignment at headquarters in Japan, and production strategy for North American manufacturing operations.
Prior to joining Toyota, Ingle held manufacturing, supply chain planning, and product planning roles with Intel Corporation, Handspring, and WebvanGroup. Also, he worked for the U.S. Department of Energy in nuclear arms control and non-proliferation policy.
Ingle has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee as well as two Master of Science degrees in mechanical engineering and management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
