Vice President of Human Resources and Operational Excellence

Kim Cerda is the Vice President of Human Resources and Operational Excellence at Toyota Financial Services (TFS). She oversees human resources (HR) strategy and operations, including consulting, talent acquisition, organizational development, and rewards for TFS. In addition, Cerda leads TFS' Operational Excellence team responsible for enhancing the company's Kaizen efforts; including identifying and executing company-wide process improvement initiatives, and building Toyota Business Practices (TBP) capabilities at the department level. She reports to Julia Wada, Group Vice President of Human Resources and Business Technology Solutions.
Cerda began her career with Toyota in 1991 in Customer Relations at Toyota Motor Sales (TMS). Since then, she has held a number of positions in TMS and Lexus Divisions prior to joining the HR department at TFS in 2000. At TFS, Cerda has served in various roles, including HR Consultant; National Manager of Compensation, Workforce and HR Technology; and Corporate Manager of Organizational Effectiveness and Associate Engagement.
Cerda earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Pepperdine University, and her MBA at California State University in Long Beach.
