Karen Nocket is vice president, Enterprise Services for Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), USA, Inc. She oversees operations, design and engineering, infrastructure PMO, service management, security systems, and IT strategies. Nocket has led critical initiatives that delivered a North America Office 365 cloud, an open source private cloud, and a technology uplift program that improved the health of the infrastructure by more than 50 percent.
Prior to her current role, Nocket was corporate manager and Business Technology Systems (BTS) divisional information officer for TMS and was accountable for all 4 divisional information officers and their teams. Her responsibilities included business and IT alignment, IT strategy, governance, financials, planning, program management and the management of all IT applications, data, infrastructure and resources that supported the business.
Prior to the BTS role, Nocket was a divisional information officer for the Automotive Systems department that supported the North American vehicle supply chain and the Toyota Customer Services (TCS) Systems department that supported the North American Parts Operations, customer relations, product quality and service support, dealer operations and accessories.
Prior to TCS, Nocket served as the chief architect, Information Systems (IS). In this role, Nocket was responsible for defining application, data and infrastructure architectures for IS on an enterprise level, creating technical standards and procedures, and overseeing all projects within the architectural domain.
During her more than 25 years with Toyota, Nocket also has led many development initiatives, including the industry-leading Lexus Dealer System, the Toyota Dealer Network and the Toyota Industrial Equipment Dealer Network.
Nocket earned her bachelor’s degree in business computers at California Polytechnic State University.
