Jeff Moore is senior vice president, Powertrain Manufacturing, Toyota Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. Moore is responsible for Toyota’s seven North American unit plants producing engines, transmissions and aluminum castings.
Most recently, Moore served as North American leader for the launch of the Lexus ES sedan production at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky (TMMK), the first-ever Lexus model assembled in the United States.
Moore began his Toyota career as production manager during start-up of Toyota’s West Virginia plant (TMMWV). He was promoted to vice president of Manufacturing at TMMWV, and held the same role as vice president at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky (TMMK). He then moved to Japan for a two year assignment at Toyota Motor Corporation headquarters as general manager of global new model project management.
Prior to joining Toyota, Moore worked as Division Engineering manager at NSK Corporation and operations manager at Johnson Controls. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an MBA from Purdue University.
